Our origins

Remarkd was founded in 2007 by Clay Newton and Andrew Brown. We set out to:

• Help to achieve some powerful social goals, be for-profit, but make a very big difference.
• Embrace and integrate the social web with the landscape for giving.
• Build stronger communities.
• Make both Giving and raising money easier.
• Build the world's best eCommerce marketplace experience.
